Belonging to some of the first generation of winemakers in the family, this wine cellar has been creating wines since 1870 however it was in 2005 when it was rescued and resurrected by the 6th generation of winemakers; Richard Sanz, Marco Sanz and Alejandra Sanz. With its re-birth came a new name which is “TERNA BODEGAS”. This name referred to the fusion of three, in this case the three people who have made it possible once again.

 

The philosophy of this wine cellar is to make their own wines with their own personality whilst respecting the factors which make these varieties possible such as the terroir, the vineyards and the grape themselves.

TERNA BODEGA is dedicated “for and to the wines” where they create limited quantities of exceptional quality wines which harness the rustic and native varieties found in their vineyards which are the oldest in the region of Castile and Leon.
